About Us

Skillshot Reader was created in 2023 by a lifelong slow reader who wanted to fix their slow reading speeds, read faster, and get rid of reading frustration.

The creator wanted to read more nonfiction books, read them faster, and enjoy it more. There was a growing stack of books that hadn't been read and reading itself was a struggle with no obvious solution.

That is until the creator began reading books on how to solve this problem and created an app he called Skillshot Reader to solve this problem! And lo and behold, it worked!

Finally, it was possible to read faster and reading became enjoyable.

It has always been a goal that the app helps build skills that transfer out to reading real, physical books, not relying on the app as a crutch. If you're ready to start reading faster, and finally fix slow reading, this app was built for you!
